Jobs welcome

Look at how the spaces connect.

  • Carpet for bedrooms and living areas
  • Sheet vinyl or LVT alongside existing carpet
  • Garage carpet for a space used for hobbies, storage or exercise
  • Refitting carpet where renovation work changes an edge or doorway

Before quoting

What to include in your room plan.

01

Each room's use

Note where people relax, work or exercise, plus cleaning needs and pets. Discuss material options for each room rather than choosing from appearance alone.

02

Adjoining floors

Mark where carpet meets vinyl, tiles or another surface. Photos of doorways and changes in level help identify finishing details to include in the measure.

03

Garage conditions

Explain whether vehicles will still use the garage and flag any dampness, leaks or damaged areas. The existing surface and intended use need assessing before garage carpet is confirmed.

Local answers

Helpful answers for Te Atatū Peninsula & South flooring enquiries.

Do you cover both Te Atatū Peninsula and Te Atatū South?

Yes. Both are in Scott Flooring's West Auckland service area. Include the full suburb with your enquiry, plus any access information needed for a measure.

Can one quote cover carpet and vinyl in different rooms?

Yes. List the rooms and the finish you have in mind for each. The quote can set out materials, preparation, installation and the transitions between surfaces so you can see what is included.

Can I put garage carpet straight over the existing floor?

That needs checking first. Send photos and explain the garage's current and intended use, including any dampness or existing coatings. Scott Flooring will assess suitability and preparation before recommending an installation approach.

Do I need exact measurements before contacting you?

No. Approximate sizes and a simple sketch can help start the conversation. Label doorways and the flooring you want to keep; the on-site measure confirms the details used for the final scope.
